## Editorial
Soyuz at the Guiana Space Centre was the Soyuz ST launch service flown from the ELS complex at Europe's Spaceport, using Soyuz ST-A/ST-B vehicles with a Fregat upper stage for medium-class missions.[^arianespace-vs25][^cnes-soyuz-guiana] The Guiana service is retired: Soyuz operations at Europe's Spaceport were discontinued on 2022-02-26 after 27 launches.[^cnes-soyuz-guiana] The published performance envelope for this service was 3,250 kg to geostationary transfer orbit and up to 4,400 kg to sun-synchronous orbit.[^arianespace-40-years] Treat it as historical Guiana Soyuz capability, not a currently active launch service from that site.[^cnes-soyuz-guiana]
