Jilin-1 is a commercial high-resolution optical Earth-observation constellation operated by Chang Guang Satellite Technology (CGSTL).[^cgstl-gf03a] Because the constellation comprises a large number of individual satellites, it is modelled as a single programme with a 2019-06-05 reference launch date.[^wmo-jilin-1][^wmo-jilin-programme] Individual units fly in sun-synchronous orbit at approximately 528 km altitude with a 10:30 ascending equator-crossing time.[^wmo-jilin-1]

The primary payload is the Jilin Imager, a high-resolution optical pushbroom sensor.[^wmo-jilin-imager] CGSTL product pages describe examples such as the GF03A variant achieving sub-metre panchromatic resolution.[^cgstl-gf03a] The constellation supports timeseries change detection and optical transient detection workflows.
