Spire Soil Moisture Insights is an analytics service that delivers gridded volumetric soil moisture estimates derived from GNSS-R (Global Navigation Satellite System Reflectometry) signals collected by Spire's commercial nanosatellite constellation. The service targets precision agriculture operators, agri-intelligence platforms, food-supply risk analysts, and weather-dependent industries requiring frequent, regional-scale soil moisture data.

Spire's GNSS-R satellites capture reflected signals from the ground surface, from which soil moisture content is computed. The standard output covers the top 5 cm of the soil column at 9 km horizontal resolution.
