## Editorial
PSS is a passive panchromatic imaging sensor flown on Kanopus-V spacecraft for high-resolution land and vegetation observation. [^wmo-pss] It images in a single 0.5-0.8 um band, with 2.5 m native ground sampling and a 20 km swath. [^wmo-pss] It has demonstrated optical time-series change detection on Kanopus-V and is a single-band panchromatic imager, not a multispectral sensor. [^wmo-pss]
