Agencia Espacial Mexicana is Mexico's national space agency, founded in July 2010 and represented through the gob.mx/aem public portal.[1] Its role is national space policy, coordination, and partnership development rather than operation of an owned EO fleet.[1] In Earth observation, AEM's documented activity includes a 2022 letter of intent with Satellogic for dedicated data access through a Constellation-as-a-Service model.[2] That initiative positions AEM as a public-sector EO data buyer and programme coordinator, with the commercial partner providing satellite capacity.[2][3] As of 20 June 2026, AEM should be evaluated as a partnership-led EO data-access agency, not as an operator of a named owned EO satellite.
