Stratospheric ozone

Stratospheric ozone monitoring retrieves total column ozone, vertical ozone profiles, anomaly patterns, ozone-hole extent, and long-term trends for polar, regional, and global atmospheric assessment.[1][2][3] ESA Ozone CCI generates harmonised multi-decadal ozone time series for total ozone, tropospheric column, and vertical distribution using nadir and limb satellite instruments.[1] NASA tracks ozone-hole dynamics with OMI on Aura and OMPS instruments on NOAA/NASA satellites, complemented by ground observations.[2][4] NASA Ozone Watch determines ozone-hole area from maps of total column ozone.[3]
