Comision Nacional de Actividades Espaciales (CONAE)

Comision Nacional de Actividades Espaciales is Argentina's national civilian space agency and an Earth-observation mission operator headquartered at Av. Paseo Colon 751 in Buenos Aires.^[1] Its satellite programme includes SAOCOM, an L-band SAR Earth-observation mission family serving soil moisture, agriculture, flood early warning, and environmental emergency management applications.^[2] CONAE also provides national satellite-information services through a geospatial information portal and an image and product catalogue.^[1] The SAOCOM programme contributes to SIASGE and includes domestic industrial and technical participation in SAOCOM work.^[2]
