The Egyptian Space Agency is Egypt's national space agency and the current institutional home for the country's Earth-observation mission line.[1][2] The agency was formally established in 2018 by Law No. 3 of 2018, while Egyptian space-program lineage is traced separately to a 1960 predecessor programme; those dates describe different points in the institutional chronology.[3] Associated Earth-observation missions include EgyptSat-1, EgyptSat-2, EgyptSat-A and NExSat-1.[3] For EO buyers, EgSA is the government agency context for Egyptian mission ownership, programme continuity and national space-sector coordination rather than a commercial sensor or data-product vendor.[1][2]
