National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA) is Nigeria's national space research and development agency, based at the Obasanjo Space Center in Abuja and operating under a public space R&D mandate.[1][2] Its formal establishment date is 5 May 1999, with 1998 and 2001 also used in early-history references for related programme and funding milestones.[3][1] NASRDA's EO mission line includes NigeriaSat-1, NigeriaSat-2, and NigeriaSat-X, with mission dates recorded as 2003, 2011, and 2011 respectively.[3] NigeriaSat-X is the agency's Nigerian-engineered milestone within that EO line.[3]
