Norwegian Space Agency is Norway's national space agency and a funding and coordination body for space activity, with the public operator domain romsenter.no.[1][2] It was formerly the Norwegian Space Centre and was renamed in February 2019.[2] Its satellite record is centered on maritime and science infrastructure rather than a civilian EO satellite portfolio: AISSat and NorSat missions emphasize AIS vessel tracking, with NorSat-3 adding a navigation radar detector and NorSat-4 adding a low-light camera experiment.[3][4] Operations for these small satellites are managed by Statsat AS, a Space Norway subsidiary, on NOSA's behalf.[3][4] For EO buyers, NOSA is a national coordinator and sponsor in a maritime-surveillance space ecosystem, not the owner-operator of a broad EO constellation.[1][3][4]
