Romanian Space Agency (ROSA) is Romania's national space agency, founded in 1991, reorganized in 1995, and headquartered in Bucharest.[1][2] It is subordinate to the Ministry of Education, with Flaviu Raducanu serving as acting administrator.[1] ROSA's spaceflight record includes the GOLIAT 1U CubeSat, launched on Vega's maiden flight on 13 February 2012 with the Ciclop camera, SAMIS, and DOSE-N payloads.[3] GOLIAT was an educational CubeSat with intermittent communications from launch, and it did not produce an operational EO service; ROSA's listed satellite activity therefore does not amount to an operational EO portfolio.[3][2]
