ICEYE SAR Imagery is a commercial X-band synthetic aperture radar product suite from ICEYE's constellation of small SAR satellites, offering sub-metre to wide-area imaging across multiple acquisition modes. All modes use VV single polarisation; no dual-pol or cross-pol acquisition is available[1]. Products are delivered as Ground Range Detected (GRD) amplitude images and Single Look Complex (SLC) phase-preserving files in Cloud Optimized GeoTIFF format; legacy HDF5 and GeoTIFF formats are documented as deprecated with end-of-support on 31 December 2026[2]. XML metadata is being retired on the same date in favour of GeoJSON metadata[2].

Imaging modes and their approximate GSD ranges (per product specification v6.0.5) span Strip at approximately 3 m (the reference default), Spot and Dwell at approximately 1 m, Spot Fine at approximately 0.5 m, Dwell Precise at approximately 0.25 m (Gen 3.5 satellites), and Scan at approximately 15 to 27 m[1]. The D1 row native GSD of 3 m reflects Strip mode. ICEYE announced a Gen 4 satellite in November 2025 with 16 cm azimuth resolution capability[3]; the versioned product specification as of the research date documents Gen 3.5 capabilities and does not yet include Gen 4 specifications[1].

ICEYE holds Copernicus Contributing Mission status, enabling sponsored access for qualifying research and civil security users through the European Union Copernicus programme[4]. Specific volume allocations and eligibility criteria are not publicly detailed. Commercial tasking and archive access for other users is available via direct customer agreement or the ICEYE API[3].
