Sentinel-5P TROPOMI L2 Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2)
Sentinel-5P TROPOMI L2 Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) provides tropospheric and total vertical column NO2 retrieved by Differential Optical Absorption Spectroscopy (DOAS) in the UV-VIS spectral range. The algorithm separates stratospheric and tropospheric components using improved air-mass factors.[1]
Spatial resolution improved on 2019-08-06: pixel size changed from 3.5 x 7 km (across x along track) to 3.5 x 5.5 km. Both resolutions are present in the archive.[1] Swath width is 2600 km, enabling daily global coverage. The product is available in both NRTI (near-real-time) and OFFL (offline scientific) processing modes.[1]
The V2 dataset covers 2021-07-01 onward; a reprocessed record extends from 2018-04-30. The dataset DOI is 10.5270/S5P-9bnp8q8.[1]
Access is free and open via the Copernicus Data Space Ecosystem and NASA GES DISC.[2]
