Casc Long March 3a

Long March 3A is a three-stage Long March vehicle developed from Long March 3 and Long March 2C for GTO missions.^[1] It has no strap-on boosters, uses N2O4/UDMH on the first two stages and LOX/LH2 on the third stage, and is the base design for Long March 3B and 3C variants.^[1] Published mission figures list 2,600 kg to GTO and a 3.35 m fairing diameter.^[1] Current availability should be treated as likely inactive or retired as of 2026-06-16: the vehicle page remains published, while launch-history records list the base Long March 3A as retired with its last flight in 2018.^[1][2]
