Casc Long March 3b

Long March 3B is a boosted Long March 3A-derived heavy GTO launch vehicle.^[1] It adds four liquid boosters to the Long March 3A architecture; the Long March 3B/E enhanced version uses enlarged core-stage and booster structures.^[1] Published GTO capacity is 5,100 kg for Long March 3B and 5,500 kg for Long March 3B/E.^[1] The vehicle remained active as of 2026-06-16, with successful Long March-3B launches in 2025, but buyer evaluation should also account for the Shijian-32 Long March-3B launch failure on 2026-01-17.^[2][3]
