BlackSky operates a proprietary low Earth orbit satellite constellation paired with the BlackSky Spectra tasking and analytics platform.[1][2] The assessed BlackSky Global satellites carry the SpaceView-24 camera, a 24 cm aperture optical multispectral sensor that USGS characterised at 0.8-0.9 m ground resolution and a 6 km nadir swath.[3] BlackSky's Gen-3 programme offers 35 cm imagery with multiple same-day passes and delivery in as little as 60 minutes after collection, based on a 16-satellite on-orbit constellation according to operator documentation as of 2026.[4] The constellation serves tasking customers across strategic-location monitoring, economic asset tracking, and event response worldwide.[1]
