EagleEye is a Polish optical Earth-observation microsatellite technology demonstrator. It launched on 2024-08-16 on the SpaceX Transporter-11 rideshare mission and uses a HyperSat-derived platform in a very-low/low Earth orbit deployment context.[1][2]
The mission carries the EagleEye optical telescope and was built around a target ground sampling distance of about 1 m.[3] Its application set is practical national observation: agriculture monitoring, land observation, infrastructure observation, and security observation.[1][3] The current public mission state is degraded after early anomaly reporting rather than closed by a formal end-of-life declaration.[1]
