PeruSAT-1 is a Peruvian optical Earth-observation mission launched on 2016-09-15 on Vega VV07.[1] The spacecraft flies in a sun-synchronous orbit near 700 km and carries the PeruSAT-1 NAOMI payload on the AstroBus-S platform.[2] Its imaging configuration is associated with a 20 km swath and tasking support for land-cover change, crop mapping, deforestation monitoring, disaster-damage assessment, and oil-spill applications.[2]
