THEOS-2 is Thailand's second-generation high-resolution Earth-observation satellite.[1][2] It launched on 2023-10-09 on Vega flight VV23 from the Guiana Space Centre into Sun-synchronous low Earth orbit.[1][3] The mission uses an AstroBus-S platform and carries a high-resolution optical imager with imagery up to 0.5 m resolution.[1][2] THEOS-2 continues Thailand's civil Earth-observation programme for mapping, resource management, and disaster applications.[1]
