GFW Pro (Global Forest Watch Pro) is an enterprise subscription platform from the World Resources Institute (WRI) for deforestation risk management in commodity supply chains and investment portfolios. It launched publicly on 11 June 2019 following a pilot from October 2018.[1]

The platform consumes the major GFW deforestation alert datasets (Hansen Global Forest Change, GLAD-L, GLAD-S2, RADD, DIST-ALERT, and JJ-FAST) together with Planet 5 m imagery, and applies them to user-uploaded farm polygons and supply-chain location data for continuous monitoring. Batch screening via API supports up to 150,000 locations per exchange, processed on an AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, and ArcGIS Server backend.[2]

An EUDR compliance module was added in August 2024, using the Natural Lands Map with a 31 December 2020 baseline to support European Union Deforestation Regulation due diligence.[3] A TraceGains integration for supply-chain data ingestion followed in January 2025.

Coverage includes commodity-specific risk for palm, soy, beef, cocoa, coffee, rubber, timber, and sugar, alongside CSRD scope 3 emissions and forest impact reporting.
