MariMap

MariMap is Reef Support's marine monitoring, reporting, and verification (MRV) platform for organisations managing coral reef, seagrass, and mangrove conservation projects and preparing biodiversity disclosures.

The platform integrates field survey data captured through the companion MariField mobile app (supporting offline diver and snorkeler photo surveys, ROV and drone imagery) with satellite context layers covering sea surface temperature, turbidity, and chlorophyll proxies. It tracks baseline surveys, repeat monitoring cycles, and project timelines across sites, with governance controls for role-based permissions and multi-partner data sharing.

MariMap produces verification-ready MRV reports with standardised metrics - benthic cover, fish biomass, seagrass density, and mangrove health - along with audit trails and evidence links suitable for third-party verification. The platform supports disclosure frameworks including TNFD, CSRD, ESRS, EU Taxonomy, and the Biodiversity Credit Alliance.
