Sensar CityScan supports municipal maintenance planning with millimeter-accurate movement information about objects.
CityScan is an InSAR ground-deformation monitoring service from Sensar that supports municipal maintenance planning across roads, sewers, bridges, buildings, quay walls, and ground-level infrastructure.[1] The service measures millimetre-scale vertical movement using satellite radar acquired weekly to biweekly, producing up to 60 recordings per year per object and reaching historical baselines back to 1992.[2]
Raw InSAR measurement points are conflated with Dutch public datasets, including BAG, BGT, TOP10NL, and AHN, to assign deformation values to specific built objects rather than to uninterpreted ground coordinates.[2] Output density reaches up to 180,000 measurement points per km2. Results are delivered as a GeoPackage for integration with GIS tooling and as an interactive web viewer.[1]
CityScan is oriented toward municipal engineers and maintenance planners who need continuous, object-level deformation data to prioritise intervention and schedule maintenance, without requiring in-field instrumentation on every monitored structure.
