Commercial InSAR ground-motion monitoring for roads, rail, bridges, quay walls, and civil-engineering infrastructure.

SkyGeo Infrastructure InSAR Monitoring is a commercial ground-motion analysis service that measures millimetre-scale deformation at roads, rail, bridges, quay walls, embankments, ports, and utility corridors using satellite radar imagery.[1] Sentinel-1 is the primary data source.[2] SkyGeo applies proprietary tunable algorithms to extract displacement time series from repeat radar acquisitions, with measurement density reaching up to 100,000 points per km2 and historical baselines extending up to 25 years.[3]

The service spans three phases of an infrastructure asset lifecycle: pre-construction site selection to assess ground stability before works begin; construction-phase monitoring to detect settlement caused by nearby development; and long-term maintenance monitoring to identify structural weaknesses and differential deformation trends.[1] Update frequency is semi-daily by default and can be configured to match project requirements.

Deliverables include displacement graphs per measurement point, deformation maps, time-series trend analysis, and historical ground-motion reconstruction.[1] SkyGeo has applied the service for Stedin NV utility risk assessment, Rotterdam municipality settlement prevention programmes, and Diemen municipality measurement automation.[1]
