RefCal Cross-Sensor Calibration

Cross-sensor spectral calibration and harmonisation service developed by SpectraWorks B.V. Ingests Level-1 radiance data from multiple spaceborne hyperspectral and multispectral instruments and applies a physics-based calibration refinement model (CRM) to produce radiometrically harmonised, cross-sensor comparable reflectance products. Initial focus: VNIR-range sensors including HyperScout-2, EnMAP, EMIT, and Sentinel-2. Designed to run as a post-processing analysis layer downstream of any EO sensor whose L1 data is accessible.

RefCal Cross-Sensor Calibration is an in-development analysis service for spectral calibration and harmonisation across spaceborne Earth-observation sensors.[1][2] The service supports calibration work for hyperspectral and multispectral Earth-observation data.[3] RefCal supports downstream workflows using Level-1 radiance inputs and harmonised reflectance outputs.[1] The service covers VNIR-focused workflows involving sensors such as HyperScout-2, EnMAP, EMIT, and Sentinel-2.[1][2]
