FORMOSAT-5 spacecraft bus is the indigenously developed platform for Taiwan's FORMOSAT-5 Earth-observation satellite [1][2]. National Space Organization and TASA are the manufacturer and operator context for the mission, which was Taiwan's first indigenously developed optical remote-sensing satellite [1][2]. The bus is an octagonal-prism spacecraft platform about 2.8 m tall and about 1.6 m across [1]. Mass appears as 475 kg launch mass and about 450 kg spacecraft weight [1][2].
