LAPAN A-series microsatellite bus covers the Indonesian LAPAN-A2/LAPAN-ORARI and LAPAN-A3/LAPAN-IPB microsatellite line.[1][2][3] The platform line is associated with BRIN through LAPAN's institutional succession and public LAPAN-developed microsatellite capability.[3] The family is classified as mini because the instances span about 76 kg for LAPAN-A2 and about 120 kg for LAPAN-A3, with the larger instance setting the class envelope.[1][2] The platform family supported orbital Earth-observation, AIS, and amateur-radio mission roles, including LAPAN-A3/IPB multispectral imaging workflows.[3][4]
