HY Satellite Calibration Spectrometer is an orbital calibration component flown on HY-1D.[1][2] It supports onboard radiometric calibration within the HY ocean-colour satellite instrument suite.[3] The component sits in the mission calibration chain rather than functioning as a standalone imaging payload.[3] HY-1C SCS is a sibling calibration instrument, not the same HY-1D component.[1][4]
