Kyushu Institute Of Technology

Kyushu Institute of Technology is a Japanese university and CubeSat education and development programme host with campuses in Fukuoka. Its Earth-observation-adjacent role is university-led small-satellite design, development, and operations training rather than commercial imagery service provision.[1] The BIRDS-1 programme designed, developed, and operated five 1U CubeSats for participating countries.[2] The BIRDS-2 programme deployed BHUTAN-1, MAYA-1, and UiTMSat-1 from the ISS on 2018-08-10.[3] Kyutech is most relevant to buyers and analysts tracing CubeSat camera heritage, educational satellite production, and partner-country small-satellite capability development.[2][3]
