Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC) is a Government of Dubai space centre headquartered in Dubai, with a mandate spanning satellite development, astronaut activities, space science R&D, and lunar or planetary exploration.[1] Its institutional history has two relevant dates: EIAST was established on 6 February 2006, and the current MBRSC legal form was created on 17 April 2015.[2][1] Its EO portfolio includes DubaiSat-1, DubaiSat-2, KhalifaSat, MBZ-SAT, and Etihad-SAT, alongside DMSat-1 for atmospheric monitoring.[3][4][5][6][7][8] For buyers, MBRSC is an active public operator and developer of UAE EO capacity, including optical imaging and, through Etihad-SAT, SAR capability.[8]
