MBZ-SAT is a high-resolution optical Earth-observation satellite operated by the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre.[1] MBZ-SAT is an MBRSC-developed mission carrying a high-resolution camera payload on the MBZ-SAT platform.[1] The satellite launched on 2025-01-14 from Vandenberg on Falcon 9.[1] It operates in low Earth sun-synchronous orbit at 500-550 km altitude, with a 750 kg mass and 3 m x 5 m dimensions.[1] Its applications include environmental monitoring, navigation, infrastructure management, and disaster relief.[1]
