Radiation Test Solutions, Inc. (RTS) is a US radiation effects testing and qualification laboratory headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colorado, operating a 35,000 sq ft dedicated test facility.[1] RTS offers total ionizing dose (TID) testing, single event effects (SEE) via heavy ion and pulsed laser, neutron displacement damage, electron beam irradiation, flash X-ray and prompt dose testing, and cobalt-60 high and low dose rate gamma irradiation.[1] Customers span space, defense, aerospace, and medical electronics sectors.[2]
In June 2021, RTS acquired Cobham RAD Inc. from Cobham Advanced Electronic Solutions, adding heavy-ion SEE and MIL-STD testing capabilities to the portfolio.[3] In November 2021, RTS was acquired by Applied Technical Services, LLC (ATS), becoming a subsidiary of the broader technical services group.[4] Malcolm Thomson, former General Manager of Cobham RAD Inc., serves as President; Mike Tostanoski founded the company.[1]
