TUBITAK UZAY is a state research institute headquartered in Ankara, Turkey, active in Earth-observation satellite development, platform and subsystem work, ground-station operations, data processing and space-technology facilities.[1] Its Earth-observation satellite portfolio includes BILSAT, RASAT, GOKTURK-2 and IMECE, with GOKTURK-2 and IMECE operational in the institute portfolio.[1] IMECE launched on 2023-04-15 into an orbit of about 680 km and provides submeter panchromatic imagery with 3.96 m RGB and near-infrared products.[2] The institute also covers AIT, production, inspection, integration and test facilities for satellite and subsystem work.[1]
