ISISPACE's Microsatellite Separation System is a three-point launch adapter for microsatellites up to 120 kg.

The ISISPACE Microsatellite Separation System (M3S) is a three-point microsatellite launch adapter for mounting satellites on a launch vehicle.[1][2] The hold-down and release mechanism uses three attachment points with adjustable deployment velocity and a no-shock release claim.[1] The system can be mounted upright or cantilevered on the launch vehicle structure.[1]

Interfaces including hold-down point diameter, number of hold-down points, kill-switch supports, separation-switch supports, and umbilicals are tailored to customer requirements.[1]

The 2018 M3S flyer states a design range up to 100 kg with configurations possible for higher masses; the current ISISPACE launch-equipment page describes accommodation up to 120 kg.[1][2]

The 2018 flyer lists Soyuz, PSLV, LM-2D, and Vega as compatible launch vehicles; the current ISISPACE launch-equipment page lists broader heritage including PSLV, Antares, Vega, VEGA-C, Atlas V, Minotaur, and Falcon 9.[1][2] Independent agency or peer-reviewed technical sources for the M3S specification were not identified; the ISISPACE flyer and launch-equipment page are the primary sources as of 2026-05-28.[1][2]
