Kraken

The Kraken is a canister-free orbital CubeSat deployer manufactured by Launch42, a Netherlands-based company founded in 2025.^[1][2] The deployer accommodates 12U and 16U CubeSat formats and is offered with a six-week lead time.^[1] The canister-free design distinguishes it from Launch42's Mercury deployer line.^[3]

Flight heritage for the Kraken specifically has not been independently confirmed as of the research date.^[2] Physical dimensions, mass, and qualification level have not been published in open sources.
