ICEYE-X1 was the first satellite in the ICEYE SAR constellation and the world's first commercially operated SAR microsatellite. [1] Built and operated by ICEYE (Finland), ICEYE-X1 launched on 12 January 2018 aboard the PSLV-C40 mission into a sun-synchronous orbit. [2] The mission concluded on 29 June 2018 after approximately 5.5 months of operations, meeting its initial demonstration objectives. [2]

ICEYE-X1 operated at an orbital altitude with two values reported across reference sources: Gunter's Space Page gives 494 x 506 km at 97.56 degree inclination [3], while eoPortal reports 505 km circular at 97.55 degree inclination [2]. The difference is within typical orbital insertion and decay ranges for the mission duration. The instrument swath is reported by eoPortal at 80 km x 40 km or greater [2]; no single consolidated swath figure is available across the cited sources.
