VIREON-2 is an Earth observation microsatellite operated by AAC Clyde Space, launched alongside VIREON-1 on 30 March 2026 aboard a SpaceX Transporter-16 rideshare. [1] It is based on the AAC EPIC VIEW 16U platform and carries a multispectral imaging payload with a 15 km swath. [2] The satellite operates in a Sun-synchronous orbit at approximately 500 km altitude. The operator describes the service as providing daily revisit cadence, though a specific numeric interval has not been disclosed. [2]

VIREON-2 is the second satellite in AAC Clyde Space's planned VIREON constellation, co-launched with VIREON-1 as the inaugural pair. VIREON-3 and VIREON-4 were confirmed in procurement at the time of the Transporter-16 launch, though the total final constellation size has not been announced. [3] Imagery and data are offered through the AAC Clyde Space SDaaS platform. [2]
