ISISPACE's second-generation compact electrical power system is an off-the-shelf EPS for CubeSat missions typically up to 3U XL.
ISISPACE Compact Electrical Power System, also identified as ICEPS2, is a compact electrical power subsystem from ISISPACE for 1U to 3U sized CubeSat platforms and low Earth orbit missions, with the product page saying it is typically used up to 3UXL.[1][2]
The datasheet issue 1.2, dated 2024-07-26, describes three configurations: Type A with Power Integrated Unit plus PBP-2S1P battery pack, Type B with Power Integrated Unit plus PBP-4S1P battery pack, and Type C adding a Power Integrated Unit DaughterBoard.[2] The architecture provides VD0 battery voltage, VD1 at 5 V, VD2 at 3.3 V, and Type C adds VD3 and VD4 buck domains plus VD5 boost through the daughterboard.[2]
For energy storage, the product page gives 22.5 Wh for Type A and 45 Wh for Type B and Type C, while the datasheet issue 1.2 gives available configurations from 28.2 Wh to 57.6 Wh.[1][2] For thermal limits, the product page summarizes operating temperature as -20 C to +70 C, while the datasheet gives condition-specific limits of -40 C to +85 C without battery and -20 C to +60 C for battery discharge, with narrower charge ranges.[1][2]
The datasheet lists I2C communication, typical PIU channel current of 3.01 A, typical PIU-DB channel current of 3.3 A, and 4 A total per regulated voltage domain.[2] Typical masses are 184 g for Type A, 310 g for Type B, and 360 g for Type C.[2]
