ISISPACE's second-generation modular electrical power system is a distributed small-satellite EPS with power conditioning, battery pack, battery unit, and distribution modules.

ISISPACE Modular Electrical Power System, also identified as IMEPS2, is a modular electrical power subsystem from ISISPACE for CubeSat missions from 3U upwards.[1][2]

The datasheet issue 2.0, dated 2024-07-30, describes an architecture built from a Power Conditioning Unit, Power Battery Unit, Power Battery Pack, and Power Distribution Unit.[2] ISISPACE lists IMEPS2 flight heritage from 2020 and design heritage from ICEPS1 and IMEPS1.[2]

The datasheet lists an operating temperature of -40 C to +70 C, a 12.8 V to 16.0 V rail, approximately 12 A rail maximum current, VD0 x4, VD1 x4, VD2 x4 output channels, and an optional daughterboard with VDx x4 channels.[2] Output current has a maximum 3 A per channel, with VD1 and VD2 totals of 4 A continuous and 6 A peak.[2]

The product page states four independent MPPT channels, and the datasheet lists four MPPT channels per PCU board.[1][2] For module mass, the product page lists PCU 58 g, PBP 252.0 g, PBU 48.7 g, and PDU 58 g including full CSKB, while the datasheet lists PDU mass as 51.6 g top mount or 57.4 g bottom mount including full CSKB and PBP mass as 252 g.[1][2] The battery pack is described as a PBP-4S1P lithium-ion pack, with the product page stating 45 Wh per pack and the datasheet listing 3200 mAh cells with 14.4 V nominal battery pack voltage.[1][2]
