ISISPACE S-Band TMTC Antenna

The ISISPACE S-Band TMTC Antenna is a passive CubeSat antenna covering commercial S-band uplink (2025-2110 MHz) and downlink (2200-2290 MHz) frequency allocations for telemetry, tracking, and command operations.^[1] The antenna uses a Rogers PCB design and conforms to IPC-A-610 Class 3 standards for PCB fabrication and assembly, as stated by ISISPACE.^[1] Flight qualification is confirmed from 2025 per the ISISPACE product page.^[1]

The antenna delivers a boresight gain of greater than 6 dBic at center frequency, with a headline gain of up to 8 dBic and a half-power beam width of 100 degrees.^[1] Return loss exceeds 10 dB across both frequency ranges, axial ratio is below 3 dB within 80 degrees of boresight, and polarisation is right-hand circular (RHCP).^[1] RF power handling is rated at 2 W.^[1]

The antenna connects via a straight MMCX connector, with a diameter of 78 mm and a total height of 16.0 mm including the connector.^[1] Mass is below 60 g and the operating temperature range is -20 to +60 deg C.^[1] ISISPACE states compatibility with its own S-band transceiver as well as other manufacturers' systems.^[1]
