Remondo satellite imagery delivered as a data-as-a-service offering, including direct access, ad hoc tasking, and persistent monitoring.

Remondo Imagery Data-as-a-Service is a planned satellite imagery platform built on Remondo's proprietary Partial Aperture Imaging System (PAIS) optical technology. As of mid-2026, the service is pre-launch: the first PAIS satellite is planned for launch in mid-2027.[1]

PAIS uses a ring-array of small mirrors combined with a coded phase mask and a proprietary deconvolution algorithm to achieve sub-30 cm ground sample distance imagery from compact, low-cost satellites. The target constellation is approximately 32 LEO satellites with a per-satellite build-and-launch cost target of around $2 million, designed to support near-hourly global revisit. Remondo had raised $20 million through venture capital and Israeli government grants as of 2024-2025.[1]

The planned service modes are direct imagery access, ad hoc tasking, and persistent monitoring. Target applications include defence and intelligence, disaster response, infrastructure and supply chain monitoring, environmental and agricultural assessment, and border monitoring.[2][3]
