HyperScape200

The HyperScape200 is described in xScape200 platform-family materials from Simera Sense as a VNIR hyperspectral pushbroom imager in 12U CubeSat form factor. According to platform-family material, it is the hyperspectral variant of the xScape200 family, extending the Continuously Variable Optical Filter (CVOF) technology used in the HyperScape100 to the larger xScape200 optical chassis.^[1][2]

Simera Sense materials describe the HyperScape200 as part of the xScape200 platform, which uses a 190 mm aperture, 1067 mm focal length optical system in a 311 x 216 x 216 mm, 12U CubeSat volume.^[1] No dedicated product datasheet for the HyperScape200 was publicly available on the Simera Sense website as of May 2026; the specifications below are inferred from xScape200 platform-family description and from the HyperScape100 spectral technology, and should be treated accordingly.

Based on HyperScape100 technology, the CVOF filter delivers user-configurable spectral bands across the 460-860 nm VNIR range. Platform-family material references 32 configurable bands and 1.5 m GSD at 500 km over a 14 km swath for the xScape200 hyperspectral member, consistent with the shared optical chassis geometry.^[1][2] The HyperScape100 CVOF achieves a FWHM of approximately 3.5% of central wavelength; whether this specification carries to the HyperScape200 is not confirmed in available materials.
