Thermal and multispectral scanner flown on CBERS-4.
CBERS-4 Infrared Multispectral Scanner 2 is a four-channel passive optical scanner on CBERS-4, with PAN/VIS-NIR, two SWIR bands and one thermal-infrared band.[1][2] Its bands span 500-900 nm, 1550-1750 nm, 2080-2350 nm and 10.4-12.5 um; the visible/SWIR bands are 40 m and the thermal band is 80 m over a 120 km swath.[3][4] The infrared payload is known both as IRMSS-2 / Infrared Multispectral Scanner - 2 and as IRS / Infrared Medium Resolution Scanner / IRSCAM.[3][4] It has demonstrated land-surface-temperature and emissivity retrieval use on CBERS-4 data.[4]
