Two-channel MWIR/TIR fire-detection radiometer flown on Kanopus-V-IK.
Sensor
MSU-IK-SR is a passive two-channel infrared cross-track radiometer used for fire-source detection on Kanopus-V-IK. [1] Its channels cover MWIR at 3.5-4.1 um and TIR at 8.1-9.1 um, with 200 m native ground sampling and a 2000 km swath. [1] The instrument has demonstrated thermal anomaly detection on Kanopus-V and has sub-daily global coverage. [1]
