NPO VNIIEM Corporation is a Russian research institute focused on electromechanical systems for space and ground equipment.^[1] It works across the full cycle of spacecraft, ground infrastructure, and software solutions for Earth remote sensing.^[1] Its projects include Kanopus-V Earth remote-sensing satellites and Ionosfera-M spacecraft; in 2025, Ionosfera-M No. 1-4 flight tests were completed for spacecraft produced by VNIIEM.^[1]
