Multispectral CCD camera flown on CBERS-4A.
CBERS-4A Multispectral CCD Camera is the MUX passive optical camera flown on CBERS-4A, separate from the CBERS-4 MUXCAM payload.[1] It images blue, green, red, and near-infrared bands spanning 450 to 890 nm at 16.5 m spatial resolution over a 95 km swath.[1] The camera has no side-looking mirror, 31-day revisit, 8-bit quantization, and a 65 Mbit/s gross data rate.[1]
CBERS-4A carries this multispectral camera with a wide-field imager for medium-resolution land imaging.[2] MUX on CBERS-4A is operational and associated with land albedo/reflectance, vegetation, and multi-purpose land imagery measurements.[3] Use of MUX on CBERS-4A is demonstrated for vegetation index mapping and optical time-series change detection.[1][3]
