PMS-2 Panchromatic and Multi-spectral CCD Camera is a passive VIS/NIR imager carried on GF-2. [1] Its channel set combines panchromatic imaging with blue, green, red, and near-infrared multispectral bands across 450-900 nm, with 0.75 m panchromatic and 3 m multispectral resolution or better. [1] The instrument swath is 17 km; the combined GF-2 swath is 45.3 km. [1][2] PMS-2 has demonstrated optical time-series change detection and vegetation-index mapping on GF-2. [1]
