Synspective X-band synthetic aperture radar payload flown on the StriX small-satellite constellation.
StriX SAR is an X-band active synthetic-aperture radar payload for the StriX small-satellite constellation, with a 9.65 GHz centre-frequency context and current StriX SAR data products. [1]
It supports Stripmap, Sliding Spotlight, and Staring Spotlight modes. Stripmap is recorded with up to 30 km swath, 3.6 m ground-range resolution, and 2.6 m azimuth resolution, while Sliding Spotlight is recorded down to 0.46 m ground-range resolution and 0.5 m azimuth resolution in the public product-guide data. [1] [2]
SAR backscatter, SAR backscatter change detection, and InSAR surface deformation are demonstrated for this active X-band SAR context, with no added tasking-cadence or non-public performance claims. [1]
