KazSTSAT spacecraft platform is a mission-specific small Earth-observation bus developed for the KazSTSAT mission by Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd. with JV Ghalam LLP as joint development partner/customer.^[1] The platform carried a 105 kg spacecraft mass, placing it in the mini-class smallsat envelope for this mission-specific configuration.^[1] It supported an orbital Earth-observation spacecraft launched in 2018 to a 575 km sun-synchronous orbit.^[1]
