High-resolution passive optical imager flown across the Jilin-1 commercial land-observation constellation.
Jilin Imager is a high-resolution visible imager and movie camera associated with the Jilin-1 mission record.[1][2] This configuration uses a 500-800 nm visible channel, full-colour mode, 4.7 m sampling and a 9.6 km swath, with area-array gaze and linear-array pushbroom imaging modes.[1] It has demonstrated optical time-series change detection and optical transient detection uses on Jilin-1 data.[1] Later Jilin-1 commercial optical products span multiple satellite series and finer product classes; those figures are not the specifications of this imager configuration.[3]
