Simera Sense 1.5U CubeSat pushbroom multispectral digital TDI imager. Sensor

The MultiScape100 is a 1.5U CubeSat pushbroom multispectral imager produced by Simera Sense, part of the xScape100 payload family. It uses a CMOS global shutter with digital time-delay integration (TDI) and acquires imagery across one panchromatic channel and seven VNIR bands covering 450 to 900 nm, giving eight spectral channels in total.[1]

The optical system uses a 580 mm focal length and 95 mm aperture with 4096 pixels across-track at 5.5 um pitch, delivering a 4.75 m ground sample distance at 500 km altitude and a 19.4 km swath. Data is digitised at 12 bits. Each band supports independently configurable TDI from 1 to 32 stages.[1] An earlier CIS-variant design documented in a 2018 ESA presentation and a third-party SmallSat catalog entry lists up to 256 TDI stages,[2] likely reflecting a prior hardware revision; the current product page states 1-to-32 stages.[1]

Declared mass is 1.26 kg within a +/-5% tolerance per the product page.[1] A third-party catalog entry lists 1.1 kg.[2] Per-band centre wavelengths for the seven VNIR channels and PAN band are not published in available documentation as of May 2026.
